• 1938: Born in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur.

• 1964 (age 26): Earn a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University, USA.

• 1985 (age 47): Sponsors Concert Band Aid oldest and plays an important role in the introduction of Live Aid to Asia.    

• 1991 (age 53): Take Racetrack Industry Malaysia (formerly known as the Selangor Turf Field).  

• 1993 (age 55): Taking over one-third equity in the company Powertek .  

• 1996 (age 58): Launch of the inaugural Malaysian communications satellite, through his company Binariang Satellites Systems Sdn.
